The digital media department has two high quality large format printers. These printers offer an extra possibility to produce highly colourfast prints of autonomous quality. The graphic art and digital media coaches, with their specific experience and knowledge in this field, offer advice in choosing the right materials and technical execution to optimize the quality of the printing assignment. They will assess whether or not the printing proposal or assignment needs technical or artistic assistance to enhance the print's quality. By offering this support and advice, the Vrije Academie distinguishes itself from commercial printing companies. Furthermore, the artistic coaches are able, at a cost, to manipulate the digital images to make them suitable for printing if so desired or necessary. In consultation, they can also help produce small, artistic editions.

Printers: Epson 9800, 111.8 cm  printing width (roll) & Epson 4800, 43.2 cm printing width (roll) 

Materials: We have many standard printing materials (paper, canvas, film) in stock. Other, more unusual printing materials can be ordered through the Vrije Academie after consultation.

Presentation: For instance on cd, memory stick or hard disk. File formats: jpeg / png / tiff / bmp / psd / pdf; high quality, of course.
