Art Criticism: FORM AND CONTENT with MICHAEL VAN HOOGENHUYZE - Lessons on art theory

‘Form and Content’ is about the historical backgrounds of two, seemingly obsolete concepts in art. For a very long time the concepts of ‘form’ and ‘content’ were essential for art analysis. Now, the concepts seem to be outdated. This 14-lesson series revolves around the question why these two concepts are no longer of interest to us and what developments caused this.
These lessons will be given in Dutch.

Mondays from 10.00 – 12.30 hrs
13 September – 13 December 2010
Price: € 250.00 / free for Vrije Academie participants
